Since I hide most system tray icons, there is no easy way to close spotify with a single command. I already read several requests to implement standard Windows behaviour, but so far, unfortunately, these requests have been denied.
Could you instead considering either or both of the following suggestions. Support an option to have Spotify behave like other Windows programs; 2. Offer a keyboard shortcut to exit spotify. Suggestion 1 would clearly have my preference, since I often repeatedly strike Alt F4 to close all windows programs before shutting down. But if need be, I could get used to a different shortcut. This is not a matter of a different shortcut, it s just not meant to close that way I m afraid.
Check out this idea here for a detailed reply from the Spotify staff about closing Spotify. If they will reconsider it, they will let us know in that idea topic.
